No that's not my real car, I actually drive a blue Prius with a license plate holder that says my other car is a Tardis.
I live in the city with the big giant magnet.
With my fiance Andrew.
Yeah we're both nerds!
And my dog Sophie
I love to read and write YA and MG. In fact the only place I buy my books is in the YA and MG section of the bookstore.
And meeting authors is one of my favorite things to do!

But is the inside of the nutshell full of infinite space? That's the real question.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe you have a zat gun! That's so cool.
Well that is the mystery behind it all now isn't it? And I'll never tell.
DeleteYes the zat gun! Cosplay for the win! :D
So jealous of all the amazing authors you've gotten to meet! Fun post!
ReplyDeleteThanks! We are pretty lucky with who comes here. But there's still many more I'd like to meet!
DeleteLOL, I love how you buried the lead there, Jamie. Speaking as someone who already thinks you're amazing, the pics were my favorite part.
ReplyDeleteaww shucks! Thanks! I think you're awesome too!
DeleteSo cute! Nice to see you in action. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks :D
DeleteYou've met so many cool people! Just think--one day you'll be on someone's website as a famous author they've met. :D
ReplyDeleteGood luck in PitchWars!
That's only a small portion of the authors I've met. But I agree they are all very cool people! And me being on someone's website one day is a very scary thought!
DeleteThanks and good luck to you too!
Awesome bio! I have a photo at Platform 9 3/4, too! (when it was still located there, before King's Cross got totally trashed, I mean, renovated... *grumble*) Love all your photos. Sophie is adorable, and your author meetings are way cool!
ReplyDeleteLove the pic of you with the plane turbine as well. My husband's also an aerospace engineer so that jumped right out at me. :) Fun profile -- best of luck in Pitch Wars!
Aww thank you so much! Your husband sounds like a cool guy ;)
ReplyDeleteWhen I took my photo at King's Cross it had been temporary moved due to construction. I think it was in a midway point. Either way it still looks authentic ;)
Lots of luck to you to in pitch wars!
Loooooooooooove this post. Just came over here after you responding to a comment I made on another blog about my book. Love the pics of you in the car and with the zat gun. Fantastic. And your dog is super cute. Especially in pink. Cuuute. And the Mars pic made me laugh out loud. Thanks. Have a great day and good luck with your writing. Look forward to seeing some of it. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you! Sounds like we have a similar sense of humor. :)
DeleteThanks for stopping by and commenting!

DeleteLooking forward to hanging in the Ravenclaw Common Room with you! ;) And WHERE did you come across that Sorting Hat?? I NEED that!!!!!
ReplyDeleteBest of luck in Pitch Wars!
YAY another ravenclaw! The sorting hat was at anderson's book shop in Chicago. I believe it was in the downer's grove location. I sadly didn't buy it but probably should have!
DeleteGood luck to you in pitch wars as well! See you around the common room ;)
Mwaaaah, you and your fiance are so geeky-cute! Best of luck with your PitchWars sub!
ReplyDeletehaha thanks, he's a keeper :) Best of luck to you as well :)
DeleteGoodness, well you certainly establish your geek cred! ;-) Totally awesome.
ReplyDeletePS: I met a Londoner this past week who works at Kings Cross Station, and he says a couple times a week he gets to watch some tourist run face-first into the brick wall. So that's awesome.
Best of luck!
haha how do I get that job? That sounds awesome! (okay I really don't wish harm on people but how funny!)
DeleteGood luck to you too! :)
We have the same license plate rim. :) I just bought a TARDIS shower curtain and made Doctor Who art for my kids' bathroom.
ReplyDeleteAllonsy!
Nice I like your style!
DeleteTARDIS shower curtains are cool!
Awesome bio! My 9-year-old comic book and MG reading nerd was sitting beside me as I read this. He said, "Oooh, you should be friends with her, Mom. She seems cool." You're hitting your target audience! Haha! Also, I'm very jealous that you met Maggie. Love her.
ReplyDeleteaww I am grinning from ear to ear now! I'll happily be friends with you and your son cause you can never have too many friends! Tell your son I think he's pretty cool too!

You have a great sense of humor!
ReplyDeleteAww thank you so much! :)
