In my free time I'm a bit of a TV and movie junkie. I love pretty much all things science fiction, fantasy, and paranormal. I'm a huge Twitter and Facebook addict. And generally I enjoy being a giant nerd, which I think is part of the job description for a Rocket Scientist. I volunteer a lot for the Society of Women Engineers and am a champion for Women in STEM. I mentor an all girls FIRST robotics team. I love to go to comic cons and cosplay! Some of my favorite costumes are Rey from Star Wars and Speedy from Arrow. I love meeting new people and interacting with them both in real life and online, so don't hesitate to leave a comment on the blog, send me a note on my contact form, or hit me up on twitter.
I currently live in Missouri with my husband, our son, and our dog, Rogue (named after the X-Men character not Star Wars, although I enjoy both). I love spending time with my family, especially during the Jewish holidays.
